According to reports, the Cowboys will face the Browns with four rookies
The Dallas Cowboys were the most disappointing team in the entire league this offseason.
The only way to avoid making this offseason seem like a huge failure is to have a historically strong rookie class.
And although initial assessments do not suggest this, Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy have no choice but to pin their hopes on it.
As Ed Werder pointed out on Twitter, the Cowboys could have up to four rookie starters on the field in their season opener against the Cleveland Browns.
The #Cowboys expect to field four rookies in Cleveland tomorrow – and that’s not even counting DE Marshawn Kneeland. Will McClay offers his assessment here. https://t.co/YdbsJPBq3a

According to the unofficial roster, the Cowboys will have CB Caelen Carson, LB Marist Liufau, C Cooper Beebe and OT Tyler Guyton as starters.
This would be the first time in franchise history that they would start four rookies in the first game of the season.
Beebe and Guyton will try to keep the Browns’ strong front seven away from Dak Prescott and establish the run of the unimpressive running back corps.
Liufau will try to keep Jerome Ford and David Njoku at bay, while Carson may have to face Jerry Jeudy.
The Cowboys had vowed to give it their all in the offseason, but that was obviously not the case.
But if any of these newcomers – or all of them – turn out to be good, all may not be lost in Arlington.
