BMW Championship & Danish Golf Predictions at 254/1 Double
Hideki Matsuyama won the FedEx St. Jude Championship on Sunday with a magnificent birdie-birdie finish and will thus take his place in the 50-strong field for the penultimate event of the PGA Tour season, the BMW Championship in Colorado.
Castle Pines, once home to The International, has not hosted a PGA Tour event since 2006 but takes over hosting duties from BMW, while DP World Tour action from Denmark and the Danish Golf Championship are also on the schedule this week.

Prediction for the BMW Championship winner – Collin Morikawa at 14/1
The top 50 in the FedEx Cup standings compete in the BMW Championship with two goals: either they want to achieve the best possible starting position in the Tour Championship or they want to secure a place in the top 30 that will secure them a ticket to East Lake next week.
However, the BMW is a valuable prize in itself and anyone hoping to win the $18 million FedEx Cup bonus knows that a win at Castle Pines will put them in a stronger position for next week.
On paper, this Jack Nicklaus-designed Colorado course is brutally long. In fact, at 8,000 yards, it’s longer than any other PGA Tour course. But because of the elevation, the figures are misleading, and several winners of The International – a modified Stableford event played from 1986 to 2006 – were among the shorter hitters in the field.
Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele both came close last week and remain the men to beat each week, but as was the case in Memphis, it might be worth challenging them again and this time it is Collin Morikawa who is grabbing the attention at this venue.
The Californian comes to Castle Pines after some mediocre performances – 24th at the Olympics and 22nd last week – which have only served to keep his price affordable.
The 27-year-old has an excellent record on the Nicklaus courses: He won the Workday Charity Open at Muirfield Village in 2020 and finished runner-up twice at the Memorial Tournament at the same venue. He also won the one-off Workday Championship at The Concession at the Golden Bear in 2021.
Morikawa’s first PGA Tour win came at the 2019 Barracuda Championship at high altitude at Nicklaus’ Montreux Golf Club, and his Las Vegas practice facility, the Summit Club, is 3,500 feet above sea level, so he should be well equipped for the challenge.
Castle Pines features hard rough with an emphasis on fairway finding, and that’s a plus point for Morikawa.
Prediction for the winner of the Danish Golf Championship – Bernd Wiesberger with 16/1
It’s not always easy to tell Rasmus and Nicolai Hojgaard apart, and bookmakers have been cautious with the twins this week, making them joint favourites to win the Danish Golf Championship at the new venue of Lubker Golf Club.
Lubker has some tree-lined holes and others that appear more exposed, but the common theme is small greens protected by bunkers, so the key to victory may well be accurate iron hitting.
Bernd Wiesberger won this title, previously known as ‘Made in Himmerland’, in both 2019 and 2021 and with his approach game at the forefront, the Austrian is ready to complete a hat-trick on Sunday.
Wiesberger hasn’t won since returning from the LIV Tour, but he continues to knock on the door, finishing sixth at the Czech Masters last week after a month off.
He is ranked fifth on the DP World Tour in the Strokes-Gained Approach category this year and third in this week’s field behind Nicolai Hojgaard and Dan Bradbury.
