England’s Liam Livingstone regained the top spot in the T20I all-rounder rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday. Livingstone reached the top spot in the T20I all-rounder rankings after his stellar performance in the home series against Australia. The English all-rounder was named ‘Player of the Match’ in the second match of the T20I series with 87 (47) and 2/16 (3), he was also impressive in the first match, taking 3/22 (3) and scoring 37 (27) despite the defeat.

Livingstone has climbed seven places to top the list, with his new rating of 253 being the highest of his career. Currently, the 31-year-old holds a 42-point lead over Marcus Stoinis (211 rating), who is in second spot, while Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza (208 rating) and Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan (206 rating) are third and fourth respectively.

Livingstone jumped 17 spots to 33rd in the batting rankings. However, Australia’s Josh Inglis made the most notable jump on the list, moving into the top 10 after scores of 37 (27) and 42 (26) in the same series. Travis Head consolidated his No. 1 spot after scores of 31 (14) and 59 (23).

In bowling, Australian bowler Adam Zampa’s overtaking of Anrich Nortje means that spinners now feature in the top six in the T20 bowling rankings.

Zampa (662 ratings) is just one rating point behind fifth-placed Wanindu Hasaranga of Sri Lanka, although he is still some way behind first-placed Adil Rashid of England (721 ratings).

There was also a significant shuffle in the men’s ODI rankings, as the Cricket World Cup League 2 tri-series gets underway in Canada and Namibia.

Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus gained one spot to fifth (242 rating) in the all-rounder rankings after taking 2-34 and scoring 27 against the USA at home, while USA captain Monak Patel moved into the top 50 (46th) with a half-century in the same match.
