How to activate ChatGPT voice chat feature
OpenAI’s ChatGPT Now offers a more natural and interactive voice feature for premium users, allowing seamless conversations with chatbots. This advanced mode is rolling out slowly, but is not yet available in many European countries, including the UK
Advanced voice feature of ChatGPT
OpenAI The voice feature was first teased in May 2023, garnering attention when it included a voice that resembled Scarlett Johansson’s character from the film “Her.” After facing legal concerns from Johansson’s representatives, the voice was removed from use. Despite this setback, OpenAI continued to develop the voice feature, which now includes nine different voices that users can choose from in the app’s settings.
Unlike the free version, which still has some voice capabilities, the premium version responds more quickly and allows users to intervene and make adjustments in real time. You can access advanced voice settings by subscribing to one of OpenAI’s paid tiers: Plus, Team, or Enterprise.
