Jake Paul criticizes the NFL with a scathing message before the end of the first quarter of the Philadelphia Eagles against the Green Bay Packers
One of the hardest things for an athlete to do is make it to the NFL.
But Jake Paul does not seem to believe this, after only watching the first quarter of the Philadelphia Eagles against the Green Bay Packers.
The two teams started their new season with a game in Brazil – the NFL’s first ever trip to the country.
On social media, Paul wrote: “And this game proves why it will be easy for me to go to the NFL.
“So much mediocrity, lack of professionalism and a very low IQ.”
Currently, the YouTuber turned boxer is concentrating on his activities in the ring.
He will fight Mike Tyson in November at AT&T Stadium in Texas and hopes to improve his record of 10-1.
His only defeat in his career was against Tommy Fury so far in a loss after a split decision.
This is not the first time Paul has talked about playing in the NFL. He told his brother: Logan Paulof these plans as early as 2022.
On the Impaulsive podcast, Jake said, “After this, I want to go to the NFL. Just to play safety and beat people. I swear to God.”
“I will bring tremendous ratings to any team I play on.”
When asked what team he would play for, the Ohio native said, “The Browns. Would you ever think I would play for the Cleveland Browns? That would be crazy.”
“I can run a 4.3 40. I have the size, the speed and the strength, so why can’t I play free safety?”
A number of former NFL players have tried their hand at boxing after their careers, most recently former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell.
When asked if it was the same as going to the NFL, he said, “No, because I’ve played football my whole life.”
