Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics has been incredibly busy this summer.

Although he missed the Olympics, he performed at awards ceremonies and charity events and also spent a lot of time in the recording studio.

On Thursday morning, Brown’s efforts in the studio were evident when a song featuring him and A$AP Ferg called “JUST DO IT” was released.

In the song shared by Geers and NBACentral on X, Brown raps about many different things, not just basketball.

In one of the lyrics, Brown raps: “I’m the only one they wanna mess with now. But they secretly hate me. But I took the game and turned it upside down. Ballin’ ain’t the only thing I know.”

Of course, Brown is not the first NBA star to try his hand at rapping.

Reviews for gamers turned rappers are usually mixed, but the reaction to this song was mostly positive.

Since it’s Brown, people try to interpret every lyric and figure out what he’s talking about.

He has made a name for himself as a somewhat cryptic person, often making vague statements that generate interest and controversy.

This happened recently when Brown voiced his opinion after being dropped from Team USA due to Kawhi Leonard’s departure.

He blames Nike for it and the new song is called β€œJUST DO IT”.

As you can imagine, many people believe this is a veiled reference to the shoe company.

But as always, Brown doesn’t reveal much.

Will Brown have great success as a rapper?

After the season he just played, no one should write him off.
