Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina and Republican nominee for Governor mark robinson Robinson is facing a number of controversies – including a possible connection to Ashley Madison, a dating website for married people. CNN reported Thursday that he made a number of inflammatory comments on a porn website’s message board a decade ago. Robinson denied all the claims, setting off calls for his ouster.

According to CNN’s report, Robinson called them a ‘Black Nazi’, insulted Martin Luther King Jr. and used anti-gay slurs on a porn website. These claims come as the North Carolina lieutenant governor’s campaign is trailing in the polls. His fall could also impact former President Donald Trump, who endorsed him in the swing state.

Meanwhile, Politico, citing an adviser to Robinson, reported that the Republican candidate for governor has an email address registered on Ashley Madison. According to CNN, an account linked to Robinson wrote on a forum on the pornographic website Nude Africa that ‘slavery isn’t bad’ and that ‘some people need to be slaves… I would definitely buy some’.

The media outlet further stated that the NC lieutenant governor called Martin Luther King Jr. ‘a fucking communist bastard’ and said that if he were in the Ku Klux Klan he would ‘call him Martin Lucifer Coon!’.

Robinson denied the allegations in a video posted on his account on the X platform, popularly known as Twitter. He claimed that ‘the things you will see in that story are not Mark Robinson’s words’ and further alleged that the story was ‘leaked’ to CNN by his Democratic rival Attorney General Josh Stein.
