UNLV football players will wear retro-style helmets during Saturday’s Week 2 game against Utah Tech.
The Rebels shared a photo of the new look ahead of kickoff at 3 p.m. ET.
The helmets are modeled after the uniforms that UNLV wore in the 1970s to celebrate its 50th anniversary. anniversary the program’s only undefeated season in 1974.
