Who is Hasan Mahmood?

Hasan Mahmud was born in 1999 in Chittagong, Bangladesh and is 24 years old. After emerging from age-group cricket, Mahmud made his debut for Bangladesh in a T20I match against Zimbabwe in 2020. Since then, he has played 18 T20Is and taken 18 wickets. He has also established himself as a regular player for the Bangladesh team in ODIs. Mahmud has taken 30 wickets in 22 ODIs.

He made his Test debut against Sri Lanka earlier this year and took 6 wickets in his debut match. He came to prominence during the famous Test. Test series win against PakistanHe took 8 wickets in the series and emerged as the mainstay of the young Bangladeshi fast bowling attack. He also took five wickets in the series.
