Martino further said that a player like Messi will always be important for Inter Miami.

“Wherever he is, he will be missed.

“So, obviously, we’re very happy to have him back in the squad. We haven’t replaced him individually because individually he can’t be replaced, but we’ve tried to make sure that collectively the team gets to a physicality that makes it credible and I think that’s pretty good about what we’ve done.”

Inter Miami currently sits atop the Eastern Conference standings and is close to making it to the MLS playoffs.
